Track Name: Resignation Letter
Calming down again, it's awful. Your unwillingness to feel bad enough, completely pulled one over. And all bets are off.
Did you really think three springs from now we'd be over in four words or less, like some resignation letter crossing your desk?
I'm sure this is the hardest part.

The two of us we talked while desperate, hushed, and while we sleep we're only half there. Did you really think these split spoke ends would spin better? Then I could confess like some open ended letter in four words or less, this is the hardest part.

And then you find yourself completely set adrift, sinking, and rudderless you try to remember but it's too little too late,
but it might be an argument for settling down.

If these things come in twos then I know I can expect: Recovered; eyes that make me want it, half spent; and we knew where it is.
We're cutting ties and getting better for worse effect, like some resignation letter crossing your desk. I'm sure this is where it ends.

And then you find yourself completely set adrift, sinking, and rudderless. you try to remember but it's too little too late,
but it might be an argument for settling down.
Track Name: Glass Jaw
Heartbreaks and last regrets and first times end conversations.
I was not so wrong this time but could not be further from the truth.
This isn't your best bet, but it could be as close as you can get.
The precision has to be weighing you down, and out.
This wasn't how it's supposed to work out...

Could not make a sound when you're finding me out. This is wearing thin...
There never was a right time for facing up the fight he'll never finish, all the years still remind you.
Never was a right time, still it won't be back in another minute, all the years to rewind.
And maybe that's the question at the heart of it...

You've got another minute of the years to rewind. Got another minute, all the years still remind you.

Never was a right time for facing up the fight he'll never finish, all the years still remind you
Never was a right time still it won't be back in another minute all the years to rewind
And maybe that's the question at the heart of it...

You've got another minute of the years to rewind.
Got another minute, all the years to remind that you've got another minute, all the years to rewind.
Track Name: Chapter 3
Keeps running out step. Remind me not to have to slow down. To rush and come to your defense.
And when you've tried it all, just tell me when you've run down the last of your arguments.
It's running out of step, and didn't you say:
"You read like an open book, but the third chapter's been carefully cut out. And you're crossing off names"
Shut off the lights. Keep with the times. I'm sure you've heard. I'm sure you've heard.

So sure, but uncertain. Hoping for a name that I might recognize.
So can it be on your terms?
Hoping in a day I'll find that I'm right.
Adjusting to the give and the take because anything's better than this...

And it's not so bad since you kicked it:
"I was hoping to be clean in the last year or so."
They say it's more than what you paid...

"You read like an open book, but the third chapter's been carefully cut out. And you're crossing off names"
Shut off the lights. Keep with the times. I'm sure you've heard. I'm sure you've heard.

I've thought it out and come to find we're more uncertain more than we're right.
I've thought it out and I'm still surprised to find we're even more than we're right.
